Wacom – Video Wall

For Wacom we designed and interactive media wall for the CES 2016 in Las Vegas, USA. Four big screens, arranged in diff angels and positions displayed a interactive 3D WebGL animation, to engage people to come closer and explore the new Wacom product range and software solutions.

Arduino controlled distance sensors were connected to the apps in real time, to react on movements or to activate video content on one of the four screens.

Three Mobile Apps, running on the newest Wacom tablets, let the user experience the new released software solutions or APIs. So they were able to try out a handwriting recognition app, which could solve mathematic operations or play a tic tac game against each other in realtime, using the collaboration API of Wacom.

Another Ipad application helped us to set up the screens and manage the angle, positions and animation states of our WebGL 3D animations on the screens.

The application was set build in a modular system, to be duplicated in other locations as well, even with different hardware set ups and is actually still running in the Wacom headquater in Portland, USA.
